Acres of Democrats in Wytheville

Each year on Labor Day weekend, Democrats from across Southwest Virginia gather for the largest annual political rally in Western Virginia. Please join Congressman Rick Boucher and other party leaders for a fun-filled day of fellowship and food. Additional details will be posted in the coming weeks.

Campaign Signs Available

Scott Democratic Headquarters has limited quantities of yard signs and bumper stickers available for the Boucher for Congress and Warner for Senate campaigns. Obama ‘08 signs are already out-of-stock, more are expected in the future. Campaign literature is available from Barack Obama, Brian Moran (Virginia Governor candidate), and Jon Bowerbank (Virginia Lt. Governor candidate).

Meet at the Duffield Parade

Some people wanted to march in the parade, others did not. Currently, plans are to have a tent  and a canvassing opportunity at the Parade.
Anyone is welcome to join the Scott County Democrats at the tent at the Duffield Daze Parade. Those wanting to help set up should plan to meet Dennis Gillenwater [...]
