Terry McAuliffe will be coming to a meet and greet in Gate City this Friday evening, January 2.
He is seeking the Democratic nomination for the Governor’s office in 2009.
Mr. McAuliffe chaired the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005.
He also served as chairman of the 2008 Hillary Clinton for President committee.

I was recently informed that Delegate Steve Shannon, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General, will be hosting a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 7:00 PM. The meeting is being held at the Russell County Courthouse in Lebanon, Virginia, in the Circuit Courtroom.
