Each year on Labor Day weekend, Democrats from across Southwest Virginia gather for the largest annual political rally in Western Virginia. Please join Congressman Rick Boucher and other party leaders for a fun-filled day of fellowship and food. Additional details will be posted in the coming weeks.

Scott Democratic Headquarters has limited quantities of yard signs and bumper stickers available for the Boucher for Congress and Warner for Senate campaigns. Obama ‘08 signs are already out-of-stock, more are expected in the future. Campaign literature is available from Barack Obama, Brian Moran (Virginia Governor candidate), and Jon Bowerbank (Virginia Lt. Governor candidate).

Some people wanted to march in the parade, others did not. Currently, plans are to have a tent  and a canvassing opportunity at the Parade.

With Super Tuesday fast arriving on the horizon, and Virginia’s own dual Presidential Primary following, 70% of MoveOn.org’s 3.2 membership has voted in favor of endorsing Senator Barack Obama.
