Meet and Greet for Terry McAuliffe in Gate City, VA

Terry McAuliffe will be coming to a meet and greet in Gate City this Friday evening, January 2.
He is seeking the Democratic nomination for the Governor’s office in 2009.
Mr. McAuliffe chaired the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005.
He also served as chairman of the 2008 Hillary Clinton for President committee.

Rick Boucher, the Democrat incumbent running unopposed for the 9th District House Representatives, received 7,345 votes. Young Democrats of America Opens Scott County Chapter

Young Democrats of America has chartered a chapter in Scott County, VA effective Monday, September 15 with 18 members on the rolls.
Their first meeting is scheduled at the Scott County Courthouse on Monday, September 22 at 7 p.m.
Further meetings will be held at Scott Democrat Headquarters, located across from the courthouse parking lot.
